OSX Update SSH Keepalive Patch
I recently hit the 10.4.8 update and it unded my SSH patch. Had to re-apply. Annoying: the update overwrote my old /etc/rc. There must be a better way to issue startup directives as root during boot in OSX.
SSH keepalive
Tue, 2006-10-10 14:12 — YamhouseHey dude,
This is Mike, Tom's old roommate from Portland.
I had the same problem on my Powerbook and Linux desktop machines. You can create an ssh config file at ~/.ssh/config and set the keepalive time that way. No need to issue any commands as root during startup.
In other news, I am now living in Seattle, and engaged to get hitched to a lovely young lady. Also, I've started blogging. I specialize in dick jokes and animated GIFs.
10-4
